The various scenographic displays pertain to the whole site, creating a graphic and narrative link of the castle history within its historical and geographical context. 

In this manner visitors can fully satisfy their curiosity and pursue their visit with the permanent exhibit.

An outdoor approach outside the walls allows the Castle to slowly unfold its beauty starting from the parking area. Visitors then can continue by entering the courtyard and the Plessis garden.

The 13th-century living quarters, successively overhauled in the 14th and 16th centuries by the Count of Lupfen and the Baron Lazare of Schwendi, were initially intended to improve the castle residential functions and living conditions. Today they harbour temporary exhibitions and the permanent exhibition presented on the site.
